This Lodge complex has 8 buildings to offer quality service to its customers and is in full operation. It is located on the river under an umbrella of palm and fruit trees making these lush grounds a home for many of the 850 species of birds in Costa Rica. The main building has an elegant bar and large dining room on the first floor overlooking the river and the grounds. On the ground floor there is a fruit and cocktail bar and common open space area. The boat equipped with a six cylinder engine can accommodate up to 6 people; its high speed gets the customer faster to the river or ocean fishing grounds to allow them more time for fishing, the ocean is 45 minutes away. The boat has its own covered slip at the dock.

Sierpe is the home of the third International Airport of the country which is to be operational by 2010. Sierpe is no longer a sleepy town, it has multiple businesses, hotels and restaurants and it is the water gateway to the Drake Peninsula, a fleet of water taxis offer regular or on request services to all points along the Sierpe River or the Pacific Coast as far as Corcovado Park and Canoe Island.
