The units have extra large windows and sliding doors to give you a sense of being outside and mosquito mesh to keep out the unwanted bugs. The unique artistic adobe interior gives a sense of being in the jungle and creates a natural feel and look complementing the surrounding environment. There are some interesting water features in the bathroom and the decor reflects that of the forest and animals of Costa Rica.
There are two more units located closest to the parking lot. These were completely remodeled and refurnished in 2017. Designed as the owner’s or managers living quarters, one unit serves as the Master Bedroom with en-suite bathroom, walk in closet, new cupboards and new washing machine. The other serves as the Kitchen/Dining Room and outdoor lounge. It has a newly designed Kitchen and built in cupboards. Both units have newly designed en-suite showers and toilets. It was designed such that it can easily converted into 2 individual rental units or rented as a family unit by simply adding a bed. The other option is to use one as the manager or caretaker’s accommodation and the other as office or staff quarters and kitchen.
The 7 empty platforms, although not built on yet could be utilized as open air relaxation/yoga or sitting areas. One could easily turn one into a Spa, another into Yoga/Pilates platform, other into BBQ Hang-out area or what ever you can come up with. With little effort and low cost, a roof or enclosure can easily be erected on any platform.
Detailed landscaping and topography plans, which took months to develop and cost thousands of dollars, are in place with the goal to create a breathtaking environment with ideas for construction of pool area, reception area, lounge and more. There is a pond and water feature with pump already installed on the upper part of the property situated below the bungalows and can be further developed into a relaxation area. There are plans for a pool to be built and electrical and water provision has already been made for this to be done. Pathways around the property and one leading to a trial through the bordering jungle are also planned for the future.
FUTURE DEVELOPMENT AND EXPANSIONS:
Architectural Design and Landscaping Plans have already been drawn for future expansion of the
development which includes an Reception Area, Outdoor Pool, Bar and Restaurant, Relaxation Platform, Hanging Bridge and Outdoor Areas. Calculations to complete these facilities including the landscaping was in the region of $150,000 but can easily be done in stages. The additional rental units can be built for a cost of around $20,000 each with 6 remaining platforms to be utilized for this purpose.
